Day 1. Irkutsk (dinner)
Meeting at the airport or at the station. Sightseeing tour of Irkutsk – the city of the Decembrists, an excursion to the Taltsy Museum – an old Siberian village, where four historical and cultural zones have been recreated – Russian, Buryat, Evenk and Tofalar.
A trip to Lake Baikal in a tourist Listvyanka on the shore of the lake, sightseeing tour, walk along the shore of Lake Baikal, souvenir market, fish market, climbing chair-lift to the observation deck on the Chersky Stone.
Return to Irkutsk, accommodation in a hotel in the city center next to the tourist quarter. The 130th quarter was restored for the 350th anniversary of the city, a rare example for Russia of reconstruction and recreation of historical buildings, reminds of the Moscow Arbat: cafes, restaurants, street artists, souvenir shops.
Dinner.
Departure to Irkutsk by bus, travel time 4 hours.
Arrival in Irkutsk 16:00 – 20:00.
Day 2. Irkutsk – Island Olkhon – Khuzhir – Cape Burkhan (breakfast, dinner)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel to Lake Baikal at island Olkhon (by bus, travel time 5-6 hours).
The island is deservedly considered one of the most beautiful and mysterious places of Lake Baikal. Amazing sacred and cult places of the island made it a cherished meeting place for sorcerers and shamans from all over the world.
Ferry crossing to island Olkhon , travel to the capital of the island – settlement Khuzhir.
Accommodation at the recreation center, sightseeing tour of Khuzhir. Skalnik Trident, observation deck.
Excursion to the sacred 'Cape Burkhan' (Shamanka rock), this is one of the nine shrines of Asia. There is a through cave in the rock. According to legend, the spirit of the owner of the island lives in this cave. Having visited this place, you will be recharged with the energy of Lake Baikal for a long time.
Free time.
Dinner.
Day 3. Island Olkhon – Cape Khoboy (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Travel by UAZ car to the northernmost point of the island – Cape Khoboy.
A place of extraordinary energy and beauty. A beautiful high rock on Cape Khoboy, outwardly similar to a sharp canine, bears a resemblance to the profile of a woman's head with a bust.
During the excursion, you will be able to see the stunning natural difference between the rocky eastern coast and the more gentle western one. In good weather, Cape Khoboy overlooks the widest part of Lake Baikal (80 km).
At the capes of Sagan-Khushun and Shunte-Left you will see Baikal from a bird's eye view. You will see an indescribable view of the open, or as the locals call it, Big Baikal. Lunch picnic.
Upon returning to the recreation center – free time.
Day 4. Island Olkhon (breakfast, dinner)
Free day.
You will be offered excursions (optional, for an additional fee) :
- excursions by boat:
to the Ogoy island, to the Buddhist Stupa;
on the islands of the Small Sea;
- excursion to the local history museum;
- excursion to Lake Shara-Nur;
- excursion to the Buryat village;
- horseback riding;
- fishing;
- visiting a mobile bath on the shore of Lake Baikal;
- ATV rental.
Day 5. Island Olkhon – Irkutsk (breakfast)
Breakfast, departure to Irkutsk, hotel accommodation, free time.
On the day of your arrival in Irkutsk you will be offered a repertoire of theaters and entertainment venues Irkutsk and during your vacation on Olkhon we can buy tickets for the performance or event you have chosen.
Day 6. Irkutsk – Arshan (breakfast)
Breakfast, transfer to the bus station, boarding the bus to the resort "Arshan'' (travel time 3 – 4 hours).
Arshan is located in the Republic of Buryatia in the unique Tunkinskaya Valley, which is called the Pearl of the Baikal region or Siberian Switzerland, at the foot of the Sayan Mountains on the banks of the purest mountain river Kyngyrga, which has a cascade of waterfalls. Hot and cold mineral springs, crystal clear air, mild climate and many sunny days a year – all this attracts people here for a good rest and helps to restore vitality. There are many cafes and restaurants at the guests' service.
Arrival to Arshan, accommodation at the hotel. Lunch at the cafe (on your own, extra charge).
Meeting with the guide. Walking sightseeing tour of Arshan. You will walk to the Buddhist Datsan, to the waterfall of the Kyngyrga mountain river and mineral springs, visit the Mongolian market with a large selection of souvenirs and products made of camel wool, yak down, cashmere.
Day 7. Arshan (breakfast)
Free day.
You can take a circular shower and go on an excursion to the Zhemchug mud baths (40 km from Arshan, at will, for an additional fee).
Day 8. Arshan – Irkutsk (breakfast)
Departure to Irkutsk by bus, travel time 4 hours.
Arrival in Irkutsk 16:00 – 20:00.

Travel tips
We recommend that you come to Irkutsk a day before the start of the tour, since due to the long flight and the time difference (the difference with Moscow is +5 hours), the first day of excursion is difficult to endure without rest.
Additional days must be booked when booking the tour.
